I want you to know, the God of the universe has a thing for you. He delights in you. He is not waiting to punish you, but he wants to pour out his love on to you.

1 You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.

Psalm 139:1-4

The God we serve is kind and loving. His mercy never ends. I want you know this, because its easy to put ourselves down, tell ourselves that we are not succeeding, that we keep making mistakes, and because of that, we can not be apart of God’s church. Or, because of that, we can’t come to God with our needs or even worship him freely. But God delights in you.

He created you and he loves you. He has a thing for you! Remind yourself of this regularly, that God wants you. He created you, because he wanted to delight in you. So enjoy the delight of your creator! Even when we make mistakes, ask for forgiveness and move forward. Let God grow you were you are. The creator of this universe love you, don’t let anyone or anything make let you forget it!
